Every comment is a click
you're currently losing.
Post the Reel, say "comment LINKS", and Reachlee DMs every commenter your tracked affiliate links in seconds — up to 30 per message in a swipeable product carousel. See exactly which product gets tapped, nudge the ones who forgot, and capture emails before the click. Free to start.
Why affiliate marketers specifically need DM automation.
Affiliate marketing on Instagram has a structural problem: the money moment happens mid-scroll, but your link lives somewhere else. A viewer watches your Reel, wants the product, and then Instagram asks them to stop scrolling, visit your profile, open your link-in-bio page, and pick the right item out of a grid — four steps after the intent peaked. Most never make the trip, and the ones who do are invisible to you: a bio link tells you almost nothing about which post sent the click or which product they actually wanted. That's the double tax on affiliate creators — you lose clicks to friction, and you lose data on the clicks you keep. Comment-to-DM automation removes both. The viewer types one word in the comments, the exact links for the exact products in that video land in their inbox within seconds, and every tap is attributed per link. You stop optimizing on vibes and start optimizing on numbers — which is the whole game in affiliate.
- The mid-scroll problem: intent peaks during the video, but 'link in bio' sends buyers on a four-step detour most won't finish.
- The tracking blindness: a bio link click doesn't tell you which Reel drove it or which product they wanted. Per-link DM tracking does.
- The DM lands in their inbox with the exact products from the post they commented on — no hunting through a bio grid of 40 links.
- Comments also feed the algorithm. 'Comment LINKS' turns your CTA into an engagement signal that pushes the Reel to more viewers.
The affiliate comment funnel, end to end.
Post the Reel, set the keyword
Film the haul, the gear breakdown, the storefront roundup — whatever you already make. In the caption: "comment LINKS and I'll DM you everything." In Reachlee, create an automation on that post (or on all posts) with the keyword LINKS. Setup takes under a minute; there's no Facebook Page or Business Manager to configure.
Every commenter gets the links, instantly
The moment someone comments LINKS, Reachlee DMs them. Choose your format: a single message with up to 3 tracked link buttons, or a swipeable product carousel — up to 10 cards, each with a product photo, a price line, and up to 3 buttons. That's up to 30 tracked affiliate links delivered in one DM, while the viewer is still holding their phone. Amazon and network links work like any URL; Reachlee wraps each one for tracking and sends the viewer straight through.
Track, nudge, and build the list
Every button is tracked per destination — you see which product got tapped, with unique clickers deduped from repeat taps. Didn't tap? One automatic follow-up nudge fires 30 minutes to 20 hours later (your choice) and cancels itself if they respond in the meantime. Want more than a click? Ask for an email before the links drop and turn one-time clickers into a list you own. Old post going viral again? Retrigger sweeps the last 7 days of comments that arrived before your automation existed.
The affiliate toolkit, built into the DM.
Everything between "comment LINKS" and the commission — tracked, automated, and measurable per product.
Product carousel DMs (up to 30 tracked links)
Pro feature. Send a swipeable carousel of up to 10 product cards in a single DM — each card carries a photo, a price line, and up to 3 tracked link buttons. A ten-item haul or a full gear list arrives as one message the viewer flicks through like a mini storefront, instead of a wall of pasted URLs. Every button is individually tracked, so a 10-card carousel gives you up to 30 separate click counters from one DM.
Per-product click tracking
This is the number affiliates actually need: not "the DM got 400 clicks" but "the air fryer got 212, the blender got 31." Reachlee tracks every link per destination and dedupes unique clickers, so repeat taps don't inflate your read. You learn which offers earn their card slot and which are dead weight — and you feed that back into what you feature next. It's the difference between knowing your CTR and knowing your catalog.
3-link button DMs on the free plan
Don't need a carousel? A standard DM carries up to 3 tracked link buttons — clean, tappable, no URL soup. Perfect for a single-product review with a main link plus alternatives, or a "top 3 picks" format. A one-link comment funnel runs entirely on the free plan: 1 Instagram account, 1,000 DMs a month, real click tracking included.
Follow-up nudge for the forgetters
Pro feature. A big share of commenters open the DM, get distracted, and never tap — intent that quietly expires. Reachlee sends one automatic follow-up between 30 minutes and 20 hours after the first message (you pick the delay), and it cancels itself if the person replies or the conversation moves on. One nudge, inside Instagram's messaging rules, aimed only at people who already raised their hand. It's the cheapest CTR recovery you'll ever configure.
Email capture before the links
Affiliate income lives on rented land — the algorithm decides your reach, the network sets your rate. Reachlee can ask for an email in the DM before the links drop: the commenter replies with their address, it's parsed and stored as a lead, and the links follow immediately. Now a one-time clicker is a contact you own — export the list for a newsletter, product-drop alerts, or retargeting ads later.
Retrigger the last 7 days of comments
Post blew up before you set up the automation? Retrigger scans comments from the last 7 days on that post and runs your keyword automation against them — so the 600 people who already commented LINKS get their DM instead of being a sunk cost. It also means you can test a new carousel on a post that's already proven, rather than waiting for the next viral moment.
Three affiliate setups, before and after.
The same funnel, three monetization shapes — storefront, codes, and gear lists.
Amazon storefront creator
Every Reel ends with "link to my storefront in bio." Viewers who make the trip land on a 60-item storefront and have to find the one product from the video. Amazon tells you clicks and orders in aggregate — you have no idea which Reel sent them or which item they came for, so content planning is guesswork.
Caption says "comment LINKS." Commenters get a carousel of the exact items from that Reel — photo, price, tracked button each. Per-product clicks show the cast-iron pan out-pulled everything else 4-to-1, so the next three Reels feature it and its accessories. The forgetters get one nudge that evening. Same content, but now the funnel is measured at every step.
Fashion / haul creator with multiple codes
A haul video covers seven pieces across three brands, each with its own affiliate link and discount code. The bio link can't hold the context, so you answer "code?" and "where's the top from??" comments by hand for two days — and half the askers never get a reply before the interest dies.
One carousel DM: seven cards, one per piece, price line showing the code, tracked button to each retailer. Every "comment SHOP" gets the full lookbook in seconds, including the 3 a.m. commenters. Click data per card shows which pieces actually move — so the next haul leans into the brands that convert, and the code questions answer themselves.
Tech reviewer with per-video gear lists
Every review ends with "full gear list in bio," pointing at one page listing gear from twenty videos. Viewers can't tell which items belong to which review, clicks on the page can't be traced back to a video, and updating the page for every upload is a chore you increasingly skip.
Each review gets its own automation: comment GEAR, receive that video's kit as a carousel — the laptop, the dock, the two cables, each with a tracked link. Per-destination clicks reveal that accessories out-click the hero product on almost every video, which changes what you review next. The bio page still exists; it just stops being the whole funnel.

Do affiliate links work in Instagram DMs?
Yes. Amazon Associates links, LTK-style storefront links, and standard affiliate-network URLs work in Reachlee DMs like any other URL. Reachlee sends them as tappable link buttons — up to 3 per message, or up to 30 across a product carousel — and wraps each one for per-destination click tracking before passing the viewer straight through to your affiliate URL, cookie intact. The one practical requirement: links must be absolute URLs (Reachlee handles the https:// prefix for you), because Instagram's in-app browser is strict about link formatting.
Can I see which product got clicked?
Yes — this is the core reason affiliates use Reachlee over a bio link. Every button in every DM is tracked per destination, so a carousel with 10 products gives you 10 separate click counts, not one blended total. Unique clickers are deduped from repeat taps, so the numbers reflect people, not thumb activity. Over a few posts you learn which offers actually earn their placement — which products to feature again, which to drop, and which post formats drive the taps.
How many links can one DM carry?
A standard DM carries up to 3 tracked link buttons. A product carousel (Pro) carries up to 10 swipeable cards, each with a product photo, a price line, and up to 3 buttons — so a single carousel DM can deliver up to 30 individually tracked affiliate links. In practice most affiliates use 5–8 cards with one or two buttons each: enough to cover a haul or gear list without overwhelming the viewer. Every button is tracked separately regardless of format.
Do I need to disclose that links are affiliate links?
Generally yes, and it's your responsibility. Most affiliate programs — Amazon Associates in particular — require clear disclosure near your links, and advertising regulators in many countries (like the FTC in the US) expect creators to identify commissioned links. Reachlee doesn't provide compliance advice, but the mechanics are easy: put your usual disclosure in the DM text itself ("these are affiliate links — I earn a small commission") or in the card copy. Follow your network's specific disclosure rules; they're the ones who can close your account.
Will Instagram flag my account for automating DMs?
No. Reachlee is built on Meta's official Instagram API and only messages people who commented on your post or replied to you first — it never cold-DMs strangers, and it automatically respects Instagram's 24-hour messaging window. That's fundamentally different from the browser-extension bots that get accounts restricted. Sending affiliate links doesn't change this: a DM with an Amazon link is just a DM with a URL, delivered through the same approved API that every Meta-reviewed tool uses.
What does the follow-up nudge actually do?
It recovers the commenters who opened your DM and forgot. If someone receives your links but never taps one, Reachlee sends a single automatic follow-up message between 30 minutes and 20 hours later — you choose the delay. If the person replies or the conversation moves on before the timer fires, the nudge cancels itself, so nobody gets a redundant ping. It's one message, aimed only at people who already asked for the links, and for most affiliates it's the easiest click-through lift in the entire funnel.
My post already went viral — is it too late to set this up?
Not if it happened within the last week. Reachlee's retrigger feature scans comments from the last 7 days on a post and runs your keyword automation against them retroactively — so everyone who commented LINKS before your automation existed still gets their DM, tracked links included. It's the fastest way to test the funnel, too: instead of waiting for the next viral moment, point a carousel at a post that's already proven and read the per-product click data the same day.
