"Price for a 2 kg cake?"
Answered while you're still icing.
"Eggless available?" "Can you do a unicorn theme?" "Free on the 14th?" "Do you deliver to my area?" Every order starts as a DM, and most arrive while your hands are in the dough. Reachlee sends your menu and price list, collects the date, size and flavour, and leaves the custom quote to you. It takes no orders and no payments itself.
The short answer
Home bakers can automate the first half of every order conversation: the menu and price list from a comment or DM, the date, size, flavour and delivery area through a few questions, and a phone number to confirm on. On Growth, Reachlee AI answers flavour, eggless and lead-time questions from your notes. Reachlee doesn't hold your calendar, take orders or collect payments; you confirm and quote.
A bakery that runs on DMs
For a home baker, Instagram is the shop window, the order book and the customer service desk at once. A photo of last weekend's cake brings in the next weekend's orders, and every one of them starts with the same few questions: how much, which flavours, is it eggless, how early do I need to order, do you deliver to me, are you free on that date. The questions arrive in the evening, when people plan birthdays, and on busy days, when you're baking and decorating and can't touch your phone without washing your hands first. A reply that comes three hours later often finds the customer has ordered from someone who answered sooner. The answers to most of these questions don't change from one customer to the next. Your price per kilo, your flavours, your lead time and your delivery areas are the same for everyone, so they can go out the moment someone asks, while the parts that really need you wait for a quiet moment.
- Price, flavours, eggless options, lead time and delivery areas cover most enquiries.
- Customers often message several bakers at once and order from whoever replies first.
- Custom designs need your eye and your quote, never an automatic number.
- Festive weeks bring the most enquiries exactly when you have the least time.
What stays with you
Four things never leave your hands, and Reachlee is built around that. Your calendar: Reachlee doesn't know which dates you're free, so it collects the date the customer wants and you confirm it. If you're fully booked for a date, write that into your notes and Reachlee AI on Growth will say so. Your quote for custom work: a three-tier cake with sugar flowers is priced by you, never estimated by software, and Reachlee AI may only state prices that appear in the notes you wrote. Your payment: advances and balances are taken through whatever you use today, outside Instagram. And your confirmation: the order is final when you say so, usually on WhatsApp or a call with the number Reachlee collected. What Reachlee removes is the back-and-forth before all that: by the time you open the conversation, the date, size, flavour and area are already there.
- No calendar access: it collects the date, you confirm it.
- No automatic quotes for custom designs.
- No payments or order-taking inside the DM.
- A phone number collected so the order closes where you prefer.
Set up in an evening, before the next busy weekend
Connect your Instagram
Sign in with Google and connect your Instagram professional account through Meta's official login, so your password is never shared. A Facebook Page for your bakery connects the same way from Pro.
Write your menu message
Standard cakes with prices per size or per kilo, flavours, eggless options, lead time and delivery areas, plus a link to your full menu. If you don't have a website, the link-in-bio page on the Free plan can hold the menu, the order form and your contact details.
Attach MENU to your cake posts
Choose the post or reel and the keyword. Free covers one post per automation; on Pro one automation covers up to 10 posts, or every post with Any post. A DM keyword automation answers people who message the word directly.
Collect the order details
Build a short flow on the canvas: a question for the date, quick replies for size and flavour, a question for the delivery area, then Ask for an email or phone. The email or number is saved to the contact, and the whole exchange sits in your Inbox when you open it.
Let the AI take the repeat questions
On Growth, add your menu notes to Reachlee AI's knowledge and switch AI replies on. Choose in Settings → Notifications how Needs you alerts reach you: email, or Telegram once it's connected under Settings → Integrations.
Six things that save the evening
Menu and prices from a comment
A keyword comment on any cake photo gets your menu and price list as a private reply within seconds. Links to people who don't follow you are sent as plain text first, so the reply still arrives when a reel reaches beyond your followers.
Order details in one go
Questions with tappable answers collect date, size, flavour and area before you've seen the message. Quick replies can offer up to 13 options, enough for a full flavour list.
A number to confirm on
The flow asks for a phone number and checks that it looks like one, asking once more if it doesn't. You confirm on WhatsApp or a call, and the number stays on the contact for the next order.
Answers in your words, in their language
On Growth, Reachlee AI answers 'is the chocolate truffle eggless?' or 'how early should I order?' from your notes, in the language the customer wrote in, Hinglish included. It never invents a price.
Custom designs flagged for you
A question your notes don't cover, a request to talk to you, or a complaint becomes a Needs you item with the customer's own words, and an alert reaches your phone by email or Telegram.
One nudge for the ones who go quiet
On Pro, someone who got your menu but didn't reply can receive one friendly follow-up after a delay you choose, from 30 minutes to 20 hours. It cancels itself if they reply or click first.
Three weeks in a home bakery
The cake reel that travels
A reel of your drip cake reaches far beyond your followers and the comments fill with 'price?'. You reply to the first ones, the rest wait until the weekend's orders are out, and most never hear back.
Your MENU automation answers every new comment instantly, and a Retrigger run on Pro works through the comments already on the reel from the last 7 days, skipping anyone who already got a reply.
The custom enquiry at 11 p.m.
A mother asks about a unicorn cake for her daughter's birthday late at night. You see it in the morning, ask for the date, the size and the flavour, and the conversation stretches over two days.
The order flow collects the date, size, flavour and delivery area that night and asks for her number. In the morning you open one conversation with everything in it, send your quote and confirm on WhatsApp.
Festive pre-orders
Festive weeks bring a rush of hamper and cake enquiries. You try to message last year's customers and find you can't, then post a story and answer every reply by hand.
Your story asks people to reply ORDER, and each reply gets the festive menu automatically. On Pro, a campaign to your past-customers folder stays open for days and reaches each person the moment they message you.

Can Reachlee take the order and the payment?
No. Reachlee answers questions, sends your menu and order-form links, and collects the details and a phone number. Orders are confirmed by you, and payment is taken however you take it today, outside Instagram. That's deliberate: a custom cake isn't a cart checkout, and the order should be final only when you've seen the design request and agreed the price.
Can it check whether I'm free on a date?
It has no access to your calendar. What it can do is collect the date the customer wants, so you see it first thing. If certain dates are fully booked, add a line about them to Reachlee AI's notes on Growth and it will tell people asking about those dates. Update the line as your diary fills and the answers follow.
Could it quote the wrong price for a custom cake?
Reachlee AI may only state prices that appear in the notes you wrote, such as your price per kilo for standard flavours. It can't estimate a custom design, interpolate between sizes you didn't list or repeat a figure someone mentioned in the chat. When a request goes beyond your notes, it says you'll get back to them or sends nothing, and the conversation is flagged as Needs you so you quote it yourself.
Will customers feel they're talking to a bot?
Replies come from your own account in your own words. Keyword messages are exactly what you wrote, and AI replies follow the tone you set and stay short. Greetings and emoji on their own are skipped by the AI rather than answered with your menu. When you reply yourself, the AI steps out of that conversation for 48 hours, so you never talk over each other.
Does it work on my Facebook Page and in local groups?
Facebook Pages, yes, from Pro: comment-to-Messenger on your Page's posts, keyword replies, ice breakers and lead capture, with Reachlee AI on Growth. Facebook Groups and personal profiles can't be automated through Meta's API by any tool, so posts you share in local groups won't trigger anything. When people come to your Page and comment or message, the Page's automations answer them.
My customers message in Hindi or Hinglish. Will replies match?
Keyword messages go out exactly as you wrote them, so write them in the language your customers use. Reachlee AI on Growth replies in the language and script of the message it's answering: Hinglish typed in English letters gets Hinglish back, Hindi in Devanagari gets Devanagari. You can also fix it to one language if you'd rather.
Is it safe for my Instagram account?
Yes. Reachlee uses Meta's official Instagram API and is a Meta-verified Tech Provider, so you log in through Meta and never share your password. It only replies to people who commented, replied to your story or messaged you, sends one private reply per comment within 7 days, and respects Instagram's 24-hour messaging window. Accounts get restricted for bots that follow and message strangers, which Reachlee doesn't do.
I bake alone. Which plan do I actually need?
Start on Free with a MENU keyword and see how many enquiries it answers. Move to Pro at $9/mo when you want the menu on all your cake posts at once, a follow-up for people who go quiet, Retrigger for a reel that took off, or your Facebook Page connected too. Growth at $14/mo is worth it once the same questions keep coming beyond what your menu message covers.
