Data Deletion
Effective: 15 May 2026
You can delete your Reachlee account and all data associated with it at any time. This page describes how, what gets removed, and when.
How to Request Deletion
Option 1 — Disconnect Reachlee from Instagram
In your Instagram app, go to Settings → Apps and websites, find Reachlee in the list of authorized apps, and tap Remove. Meta sends Reachlee an automated deauthorize callback. On receipt, we immediately revoke the access tokens for that Instagram account and begin the deletion process below.
Option 2 — Delete your account in-app
Sign in at reachlee.co and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your Reachlee account.
Option 3 — Email us
Send an email to tusharkapil63@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account, with subject “Delete my data”. We will confirm receipt and complete deletion within the timeline below.
What Gets Deleted
- Your Reachlee account (email, name, profile).
- Every Instagram account you connected — handle, profile info, and the long-lived access token Meta issued.
- All contacts (Instagram users who have interacted with your account through Reachlee).
- All messages stored from those contacts, in both directions.
- All automation configurations (triggers, keywords, DM templates, link unfurls).
- All automation run logs and follower-count snapshots used for the growth metric.
- Any captured leads (emails collected via DM automations).
- Subscription record (held by Dodo Payments per their policy).
Timeline
- Immediately— Instagram access tokens are revoked from our database and from Meta's side via API. Active automations stop running.
- Within 24 hours — your account is marked deleted and is no longer accessible via sign-in.
- Within 30 days — all data is purged from active databases.
- Up to 90 days — encrypted database backups may still contain your data. These are not accessed during normal operations and are rotated out automatically.
Confirmation
We send a confirmation email when deletion completes. If you do not receive confirmation within 7 days of your request, please email tusharkapil63@gmail.com and we will follow up.
What We Cannot Delete
We cannot delete data held by third parties on your behalf, such as:
- Messages that have already been delivered to your Instagram account — those live in Instagram and are governed by Meta's Privacy Policy.
- Payment records held by Dodo Payments — those are governed by Dodo Payments' Privacy Policy.
