# Connect your accounts

Connect Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages to a Reachlee workspace.

Reachlee works with **Instagram professional accounts** (Business or Creator) and **Facebook Pages**. Both connect through Meta's own login screens, so Reachlee never sees your password.

Sign in to the [dashboard](https://www.reachlee.co/app/) and click **Connect account**. Choose Instagram or Facebook.

Meta shows the permissions Reachlee asks for: read comments and messages, send messages, manage comments. Approve them for the account or Page you want to automate.

The account appears in the header switcher and in Settings. Automations, the inbox and analytics are all scoped to it.

* Instagram: a **professional** account. Personal accounts cannot receive API messages. Switch in the Instagram app under Settings → Account type and tools.
* Facebook: you must be an admin of the Page.
* The account must stay connected: long-lived tokens are refreshed automatically, but if you change your password or remove the app in Meta settings, Reachlee shows a **Reconnect** banner.

Facebook Pages and Instagram inboxes

If your Instagram is linked to a Facebook Page, the Page's inbox may own conversations by default and reject messages from any third-party app after the first one. Fix: in the Page's settings open **Advanced messaging**, edit the Reachlee app and turn on **Take control of conversations**.
